PICAXE(R) related products

Starter Sets - the startup essentials for an 08M or 18X project. It includes the following;

PICAXE(R) chip and appropriate solder tail DIP socket
3.5 mm high quality stereo jack for programming connector
180 ohm, 10k and 22k resistors and BAT42 diode for the enhanced resistor and diode protected programming interface
(18X only) - reset switch and 10K pullup resistor

Wulfden PX08U Board - power, programming and i/o connectors on a small convenient PCB. See pictures to right It includes the following;

PICAXE(R) 08M chip and DIP socket
3.5 mm high quality stereo jack enhanced programming interface
jumper select to move Sout to be used as P0 after programming
Low drop out 5 volt regulator with large output capacitor to handle high current surges. Low dropout also permits use of tray of 4 AAs as power source for much greater duration than a 9 volt battery.
output pins set for 3 pin Servo compatible connector, power to these can be jumper selected direct from input (6-7 volts) or from the VR (5 volts)
provision for all ports pins to have series protective resistors (5 x 330 ohm included in kit)
bottom of board has full ground plane for a quieter board

Increasingly we get orders from dummy email addresses that are used just for PayPal and rarely/never checked. Rev-Ed has priced PICAXE(R) products remarkably low and the margins to their suppliers are very tight. Pricewise, I cannot significantly compete with most dealers on the PICAXE(R) chips themselves. However, what I can do is ship small quantities with a more rapid response and lower shipping and handling charges than larger operations. For a net lower cost per order on small orders
PICAXE(R) Book	The PICAXE(R) documentation, which is quite thorough and extensive, is available only in PDF formatted files. The only printed publication , which we very highly recommend, is Dave Lincoln's book, available from Amazon for under $30 as a reference for the PICAXE(R) chips, programming, interfacing and circuit ideas.
PICAXE(R) Friendly LCD Displays	Wulfden's K107 Serial LCD controller, board, based upon the PH Anderson chipsets, is a powerful, yet economical solution for LCD displays. The K107 with an Anderson #118 chip and resonator runs at 2400 baud input, just right for the PICAXE(R). The k107 web page offers and range of k107 options and displays.
P2 - PXProgrammer	A simple enhanced (with protective diode on Sin and series limiting resistor on Sout) PICAXE programming interface. It is easy-to-plugin and easily removed programming adapter in kit form as well as assembled and tested. The programming adapters web page offers more detail and ordering forns.

DS18B20 12 Bit Temperature Sensor	The Dallas Semiconductor DS18B20 One-Wire 12 bit temperature sensor in a TO-92 case that PICAXE(R) firmware is designed to work with. The Data Sheet is available for this sensor.

Servo/LCD/Sensor Cable	Black/Red/White 14" (35 cm) cable, with .100 spaced female sockets (Molex KK) both ends plus 3 pin double male header/adapter to act as a gender bender. This cable is perfect for connecting a DS18B20 sensor in TO-92 case to a processor board or breadboard to make off-board measurements. I stock this cable as a conveniece.
